Basketball Victoria Media Accreditation
Basketball Victoria operate a number of leagues, tournaments and competitions across metropolitan and regional Victoria throughout the year.
Basketball Victoria has opened Media Accreditation for working media and club media for 2025/2026.
This accreditation will cover Big V, VJBL, CBL, NBL1 South and other Basketball Victoria sanctioned events including; 3xCup, Victorian College Championships, Champions Cup, National Junior Classic and Junior Country Championships.
A current Working With Children's Check (WWCC) is required to obtain Basketball Victoria Media Accreditation. If you do not currently possess a WWCC, applications can be made via this link.
The first round of applications for 2025/26 BV Media Accreditation will close on Friday 4 April 2025. Please note applications submitted after this date may not be considered.
What is needed for your Media Accreditation application:
Valid Working With Children Check
Headshot image with the following rules:

- Photos must be clear, sharp and in focus
- Photos must show both edges of the face clearly
- Photos must show a full front view of face and shoulders
- The face and shoulder image must be centered
- There must be no hair across the eyes
- No Hats or head coverings except for religious reasons
- Full facial features are clearly visible
- Photo has no shadows
- Photo has uniform lighting
- No flash reflection on the face
- Photo has a plain, uniform, light background

Basketball Victoria Media Accreditation does provide access to the NBL1 South competition, however all accredited individuals will also be required to abide by the NBL1 South Media Terms and Conditions which are available via the link below.
