Round 7 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program has opened. The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation activities. Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership and registration fees.
IMPORTANT:
Round 7 is a limited round and once the allocated vouchers have been used the round will close. Please encourage your participants to apply for their reimbursement or voucher as soon as possible so they don’t miss out.
If a participant has already paid their registration they can only be reimbursed by selecting the Get Reimbursed option from the Get Active Kids website. Basketball Victoria cannot reimburse participants directly. If a participant has already paid and then gone and got a voucher, they should be advised to contact Get Active Kids and request that their voucher is cancelled. They will then be able to claim the reimbursement from Get Active Kids.
The system used for Clubs and Associations to claim reimbursement of vouchers in Round 5 and 6 will remain the same in Round 7. A link to a presentation outlining this process can be found below.
- Round 7 opens for applications for a voucher or reimbursement: 10:00 am Tuesday 10 October 2023 until allocation exhausted
- Reimbursement expenditure dates: from 8 May 2023 until allocation is exhausted
- Vouchers expiry date (once you have been issued a voucher you have until this date to use it) : Tuesday 30 April 2024

A reminder - clubs and associations do not need to register as a provider on the Get Active Kids website, Basketball Victoria has taken care of this for you. Your participants just need to select "Basketball Victoria" as the provider (our provider number/code is: 2951096) and the voucher can be applied across all levels.
For Clubs/Associations taking registration payment via PlayHQ, you don’t need to do anything other than complete the Bank Confirmation Form (no need to complete if you’ve completed this in a previous round). BV will fortnightly review all vouchers taken via PlayHQ and pay clubs/associations accordingly.
For Clubs/Associations taking registration payment outside the PlayHQ system, you will need to receive the voucher from your participant (ensure it contains the BV provider code – 2951096), reduce the participants invoice/payment by up to $200 and then complete the Organisation Claim Form and BV will review fortnightly and pay clubs/associations accordingly.
