As a ‘Rookie Reporter’ you will work with the BV Marketing, Media & Digital team throughout the 2024 VJBL, Big V, NBL1 South seasons. Your work could be featured across the many Basketball Victoria channels including basketballvictoria.com.au, BV and league social channels and associated tournament/special event programs.
A new initiative from Basketball Victoria, enabling aspiring young journalists the opportunity to submit match reports, articles and have work shared with Victoria’s basketball community and contribute to the coverage and amplification of the great sports performances and stories right across basketball in Victoria.
As a Rookie Reporter your work could be featured across the many Basketball Victoria channels including basketballvictoria.com.au, BV and league social channels and associated tournament/special event programs.
As a contributor to our Basketball Victoria leagues and competitions media, you can also make invaluable contacts in the basketball industry while getting support from the BV Marketing, Media & Digital team for the duration of the 2024 VJBL, Big V, NBL1 South season.
For your chance to be one of the 2024 Rookie Reporters, fill in the online application form and complete the prescribed written task before midnight on 22 March, 2024.
Successful applicants will be notified by 26 March, 2024. Interested applicants must be:
- Available to work and provide coverage across the VJBL, Big V or NBL1 South leagues for the duration of the 2024 season/s.
- Strong written & media communication skills
- Passion for and knowledgeable about Basketball
