Big V’s Pink Round for 2024 has officially wrapped up, marking another successful weekend dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The round was a huge success - uniting our teams, supporters, and advocates in the fight against breast cancer.
Big V’s 2024 Pink Round saw over 7500 spectators coming together in stadiums to show their support for the cause and help raise funds.
Basketball Victoria is grateful for the support and willingness of our clubs at Big V to get involved in this initiative – turns out, pink looks good on everyone!
A few special shoutouts to Western Port who smashed their $1,000 fundraising goal, raising $3,368 for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia (BCNA). As well as Warrnambool who have raised over $5,000 and in honor of their fantastic efforts Jess Bonham shaved her pink hair.
This does not go without mentioning the remainder of clubs who have helped raise money for the BCNA or the Jane McGrath Foundation.
Big V’s Pink Round 2024 was a testament to the power of community and the collective effort to make a difference. As the event continues to grow each year, the hope is that it will inspire even more people to join the cause, ultimately bringing us closer to a world without breast cancer.
Thank you to all ourc lubs who have helped raise money for both, the BCNA or the Jane McGrath Foundation.
