A new initiative from Basketball Victoria offering any budding photographer the chance to showcase their best photos that capture the essence of basketball here in Victoria at a grassroots community level.
The top 50 images, as judged by BV’s Media and Marketing team in conjunction with expert sport photographer Michelle Couling, will be featured on basketballvictoria.com.au and the overall winner receiving $1000 cash prize and will spend a day shooting an elite game with award-winning photographer, Michelle Couling.
To enter, simply share your best community basketball photos taken during 2024 on Instagram or Facebook by tagging #FromTheSidelines24 and upload your photo to our competition hub here.
As basketball is played all year round, the competition will commence Friday 15 March 2024 and will run until Wednesday 25 September 2024. The winner will be announced on Friday, 27 September 2024 and will join Michelle Couling for a game in the 2024/25 NBL season (date TBC).
