Basketball Victoria would like to congratulate the following referees and referee coaches who have been selected to officiate at the 2022 Kumon Country-Metro Challenge.
Selection to Kumon Country-Metro Challenge is a noteworthy achievement for all referees as it highlights the advancement on the referee pathway for Metropolitan and Country Victoria officials.
The High Performance pathway is just as important for referees as it is for players and coaches, providing up-and-coming officials with high-calibre tournaments, competitions and events to hone their skills as they look towards gaining selection for the Australian Junior Championships and senior panel appointments.
A number of experienced Referee Coaches will also be part of the event, who continue to put back in to the sport and help teach the selected officials to rise to the heights of basketball officiating.
The Kumon Country-Metro Challenge will be held at the State Basketball Centre, Wantirna South, from 14-17 January 2022.
