Round 3 of the NBL1 South delivered another special ANZAC Round as our partnership with RSL Victoria continues into its second season. Clubs, players and fans all rallied behind the ANZAC Appeal, which helps raise much needed funds to support veterans and their families.
ANZAC Round featured 32 games, with each club finding its own special way to honour the ANZACs. This included service members playing the Last Post to moving reflections from those with military connections.
A highlight of each game was the awarding of the ANZAC Round medal to the player who best embodied the ANZAC spirit, as decided by the referees and coaches. Congratulations to the following players:
