Victoria has 15 athletes competing in March Madness, the National Collegiate Athletic Assocation (NCAA) college tournament in the US. The men’s division has tipped off this week, whilst the women will begin their tournament tomorrow.
March Madness is a national tournament that is the pinnacle of college basketball and showcases the best talent at college level.
There are two men and 13 Victorian women across 11 schools. Ballarat’s Georgia Amoore, being a standout earning AP Second Team All-American Honourable mention, as she and Charlise Dunn helped their school Virginia Tech to be #1 seed!
