Youth League Women's Week 1/2 Head-To-Heads

Our Youth League Women divisions are set for an exciting weekend of Big V Finals basketball. Let's take a look at how each team faired the last time they met:

Melbourne vs Diamond Valley  

In week 1 of Finals we see the 1^st seed from Terrill Melbourne host 4^th from Watson Diamond Valley in an Elimination Final. Melbourne are coming into the clash of 4 wins on the trot with Diamond Valley completing their regular season with a convincing win at almost full strength.

Casey vs Bendigo

In Week One of Youth Championship Women we see an Elimination Final with Casey hosting the Bendigo Braves with the winner moving on to the Semis. Casey earned hosting rights after finishing 2^nd in the Watson conference with Bendigo 3^rd in Terrill.

Keilor vs Kilsyth

An Elimination Final looms between the Keilor Thunder and the Kilsyth Cobras over at Keilor Basketball Stadium. Two powerhouse associations are in a do-or-die elimination with the winner moving to the semis. Keilor, the 2022 Youth Champions ended their regular season 2^nd in the Terril conference with Kilsyth finishing in 3^rd in Watson.

Altona vs Waverley

In week 1 of finals, we see Altona host Waverley in an Elimination Final with the winner progressing to the Semi-Finals. Altona finished their regular season taking out 4 of their last 5, averaging the most points per game amongst all 16 teams. Waverley took out Altona back in 12 looking to cause another upset.

Week One of Youth One finals we see the McKinnon Cougars host the Camberwell Dragons in a win or go home finals. McKinnon took out their last clash last weekend taking out 4^th position with Camberwell closely behind finishing their regular season in 5^th.

Wyndham vs Pakenham

In an Elimination Final, we see a 3^rd placed Wyndham host the 6^th placed Pakenham in a win of go home final at Eagle Stadium. It was last weekend in Round 17 where Wyndham took out the W 79 to 65 of the Warriors with Jasmine Goodman the star of the show.

Bellarine vs Whittlesea

A chance to go straight into the Grand Final it is Bellarine who will host Whittlesea down in Bellarine. A second chance opportunity remains after the game with a win progressing to the Grand Final. It was back in Round 11 when Whittlesea defeated Bellarine 93 to 80.

Mornington vs Albury Wodonga

It is a win or go-home in Week 2 between Mornington and Albury Wodonga as Mornington fell short in Week One to Whittlesea whilst Albury Wodonga got the win over Blackburn. It was back in Round 11 where Mornington got the win 69 to 41.
