Youth League Men's Week 1 Head-To-Heads

All our Youth League Men divisions get their finals campaigns underway this weekend. Let's take a look at how each team faired the last time they met:

Melbourne vs Eltham

Week One we see an Elimination Final with the Melbourne Tigers hosting the Eltham Wildcats in a do-or-die battle. Melbourne came out on top of the Watson Ladder with Eltham just scraping in at 4^th in Terrill. This will be just the second hit out between the two dominant forces.

Sandringham vs Diamond Valley

It was only last week when the Sabres hosted the Eagles in the last round of the regular season. They now face one another again for a chance to move into the Semi-Finals. Sandringham earned hosting rights after finishing 2^nd in Terril with Diamond Valley 3^rd in Watson.

Kilsyth vs Frankston

An Elimination Final looms between the Kilsyth Cobras and the Frankston Blue over at Kilsyth Basketball Stadium. Two powerhouse associations are in a do-or-die elimination with the winner moving to the semis. Kilsyth ended their regular season 2^nd in the Watson conference with Frankston, the 2022 Youth One Champions finishing 3^rd in Terrill.

Dandenong vs Ringwood

Week One of finals we see Dandenong host Ringwood in an Elimination Final with the winner progressing to the Semi Finals. Dandenong had an incredible year finishing on top of the Terrill latter with Ringwood looking for Grand Final redemption now coming from 4^th position in Watson.

In Week One of finals we see Geelong United host the 2022 Finalists Camberwell Dragons in a win-or-go-home clash over in Geelong. It was back in Round 14 when the Dragons took it to Geelong and walked away with the win.

Sherbrooke vs Keysborough

It is the Sherbrooke Suns who will host Keysborough in a do-or-die Elimination Final. The winner progresses to the second week and has an opportunity to play in the qualification process in 2024. A 3^rd vs 6^th clash with 6th-placed Keysborough taking out their last hit out 87 to 78.

It is the Whittlesea Pacers who will host Maccabi in a do-or-die Elimination Final. The winner progresses to the second week and has an opportunity to play in the qualification process in 2024. Maccabi came out on top last weekend in Round 17 96 to 91 in an upset win.

Melbourne University vs Albury Wodonga

Week One of the finals we see Melbourne University hosting the Albury Wodonga Bandits in a 2^nd vs 3^rd battle. It was back in Round 2 where Melbourne University just got on top of the Bandits taking it out by 1 point.
